Bradford Town v Odd Down

Wednesday night saw us play at Bradford Town , this is always a very tough place to go and the lad's were certainly up for the challenge.

The game came to life on 20 mins when we failed to deal with a Bradford corner resulting in them going 1-0 up.

This seemed to spur us into action and we gained control of the game with some great passing football. We kept the ball well and a fantastic passing move through the team found a perfect cross met and finished superbly by Shea Bennington Mannings 1-1.

We upped the tempo and dominated the rest of the half.

The second half saw Bradford continue to pump long balls forward with no real purpose and our back three were excellent in dealing with them.

We were knocking the ball around really well and creating some good chances one of which fell to Josh Clark who smashed home our second to put us 2-1 up.

We followed up the goal with a couple of great efforts but couldn't find the Finnish to get the third.

Bradford threw everything at us and in the dying moments snatched an undeserved equaliser. 2-2

The final whistle blew and the lads were gutted but that just shows how far we've come since the start of pre season.

The lads were fantastic and really need to keep pushing now to build on a fantastic start to the season.
